Clearview gardens parking11/20/2023 The Tripadvisor page for Milan hotels has a "Free Parking" filter in its left hand column.įor large parking lots attached to the Metro network as per the link provided by Luca above, you'd be looking at Cascina Gobba on the green M2 line, or Maciachini on the yellow M3 line - and Comasina at the northern terminus of the M3 line has one too, see Post #17 in another thread with the identical title "Parking outside Milan". It is a similar distance from the center as the first (both far from Area C - however the red M1 has the advantage of having a direct connection to the Duomo Metro Station in the heart of the city, whereas the M5 requires a change at Zara), so you may be able to find on-the-street parking, but both hotels here have a paid parking option. The road route to this area seems more straightforward than the first area near Sesto San Giovanni. At the very end of Milan's newest driverless Metro line, the lilac M5, is Bignami Station with two large hotels very close by: the Starhotels Tourist, and the Hotel degli Arcimboldi. The other spot is also similarly in this northeast area, just on the other side of the main heavy-rail tracks heading to Milano Centrale. All three hotels have paid parking, but for this outlying area of Milan, the B&B Hotel Milano Sesto San Giovanni notes: "There are many public parking spaces in the surrounding streets." But please note that Italy is one country where cars of tourists have been targeted by petty criminals all over the country. The Hilton Garden Inn Milan North (8 euros for covered parking) is very near the Villa San Giovanni station while one stop further north, there are two other chain hotels towards the Sesto Marelli station: a branch of the inexpensive B&B Hotel chain, and the NH Milano Concordia. There are quite a few accommodation options in the general Sesto Giovanni area, including a good cluster of hotels as far south as Sesto Marelli and Villa San Giovanni. One is near the northeastern end of the red M1 Metro line (all of which, since July 15, is now wholly within the standard Milan transport zone, Mi1-Mi3). "For a quick overnight stay." - Kill two birds with one stone: get accommodation that provides convenient parking while outside Milan's restricted traffic Area C, with quick Metro access to the center.
